GLeo Sauna Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are mandatory for all “Gleo Sauna” customers. Before using the services, the customer must carefully read, sign and follow these Terms and Conditions.

By purchasing the service, each customer confirms that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them unreservedly. The individual using the sauna is liable for any consequences arising from the ignorance or breaking of these Terms and Conditions.

Prohibitions

• Use alcohol and drugs and smoke in the sauna.

• People under the influence of alcohol and drugs are prohibited from visiting the sauna.

• To bring glass drinking vessels to the steam room.

• To bring food and beverages, snacks, and drinks to the steam room.

• to damage the Sauna’s inventory

• to go to the steam room with clothes and outdoor footwear. Only bathing suits are allowed.

• To go to the steam room with slippers. Slippers should be left in the anteroom.

• To throw foreign objects, such as food, plastic, textiles, leather, rubber, etc., into the heater. The heater can be heated with dry wood logs.

• To pour essential oils, beer, seawater, or other liquids on the rocks in the steam room. This can cause health problems or damage the sauna equipment. Only fresh water can be poured on the rocks.

• Do not use any personal products, salt scrubs or oils in the sauna.

• To use mobile phones and other sound-producing devices in the steam room.

Children in the Sauna

NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 ARE ALLOWED IN COMMUNAL SESSIONS. 

Children (aged 5-16) can ONLY use the sauna in a privately booked session. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times when inside the sauna. 

Liability Waiver for adults who are coming with children aged 5-16

1. Acknowledgement of Risks
Sauna use involves exposure to high temperatures, which may cause risks including, but not limited to: 

• Heat-related issues: Dehydration,      overheating, heat exhaustion, or fainting.
• Physical injury: Slips on      wet surfaces, or burns from touching the stove, chimney, or metal      surfaces.
• Cold exposure: If using associated cold plunges or      showers. 

2. Parental Supervision & Rules

• Supervision: The child must be accompanied by a      responsible adult at all times (recommended ratio 1 adult to 2 children).
• Time Limits: Session times should be limited based on      age (e.g., 5–10 minutes for ages 5–13).
• Conduct: No running, horseplay, or touching the      sauna heater.
• Health: The child is in good health and has no      medical conditions (e.g., heart issues, respiratory distress), making      sauna use unsafe. 

3. Release of Liability
I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Gleo Sauna, its owners, and employees from any and all claims or liability arising from my child’s participation in the sauna session, except for cases of gross negligence. 

4. Emergency Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I consent to medical treatment for my child and assume all financial responsibility for such care. 

Private/Group Booking Responsibility:

If I am booking the sauna for a group, I confirm that I will inform all group members of these terms and conditions and ensure they understand and adhere to all safety and usage guidelines.

Health and Safety

Always beware of hot equipment, slippery surfaces due to water or other substances, and hot temperatures.

Do not throw water onto the stones (generate steam), when someone is in the immediate vicinity of the heater, as hot steam can cause him/her burns.

Direct exposure of a human body to heated stones or other parts of the heater is harmful to health.

Don't go to the sauna if you have:

• infectious diseases

• skin diseases

• open wounds

• nail fungus

Please seek medical advice before coming if any of the following apply:

• You’re taking regular prescription or over-the-counter drugs.

• You’re pregnant or suspect you are. 

• You have any cardiovascular conditions or are taking blood pressure medications. 

• You have a pacemaker or defibrillator. 

• You’ve had a heart attack in the last six months. 

• You have a recent joint injury, or you have joints that are chronically swollen.

• You have metal pins, rods, artificial joints, or any other surgical implants

• Have any chronic underlying medical condition.

Gleo Saunas cannot accept responsibility for customers with the above conditions or in the above situations.

Recommendations

We recommend bringing them to the Sauna:

• Swimwear

• Flip flops 

• Two towels - one for drying, one for sauna benches. 

• For hygiene purposes, take a shower using soap before using the Sauna.

We do not recommend going to the sauna: 

• to smell of perfume

• come with makeup

• wearing any type of apparel or jewellery 

• to bring expensive and valuable objects such as jewellery, necklaces, rings, watches

1. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• 48+ Hours Notice: Full      refund (minus any non-refundable booking fees) or a free reschedule.
• 24–48 Hours Notice: No      refund, but many operators allow rescheduling if the slot      can be filled.
• Less than 24 Hours / No-Show: 100%      forfeiture of the booking fee. No-shows are generally not refunded. 

2. Weather & Safety Cancellations

• Provider Cancellation: If you      must cancel due to severe weather (e.g., high winds, amber/red alerts),      mechanical failure, or staff illness, provide a full refund or      immediate reschedule.
• Customer Choice: If it is      raining but safe to operate, standard cancellation fees typically      apply. 

3. Transferability

• If a customer cannot attend, allow them to transfer their      spot to a friend or family member at no extra cost, provided the      new guest signs the liability waiver. 

Liabilities 

• “GLeo Sauna” does not investigate customer claims, nor is it responsible for any health issues experienced during the Mobile Sauna use.

• “GLeo Sauna” is not responsible for the customer‘s property or property that is lost and/or partly damaged.
